This is a HI-Power, lightweight lithium replacement battery for the heavy YTX-20 Series Lead/Acid battery. 680 CA, 20 Ah (Pb Eq).

(Please note if you use older bikes from the mid 1990's and earlier you must update the charging systems to a modern voltage regulator. Damaged voltage regulators can over charge and damage lithium batteries)

Due to their excessively high current draw, the restart & heavy duty series of batteries are not suitable for bikes with large, modified or custom V Twin engines

The new ATX20-RS is an extremely lightweight and high-power Lithium-Ion replacement battery for the heavy lead/acid YTX20 battery found in many Motorcycles and Powersport Vehicles. The ATX20-RS offers the first FULL Battery Management System (BMS) found on a Powersport Battery and includes low-voltage cut-off, over discharge, over-charge, and thermal protections with real time lithium-ion cell balancing.

The ATX-20 Re-Start battery can also be used in Hi-Performance Automotive and Racing applications where extremely high cranking power and massive weight reduction in a very compact size are desired. As with most all our batteries, you can easily bolt on our Automotive Terminal Adapters for use in high performance automotive applications.

To give you an idea of the power of this battery, the ATX20-RS can easily start Motors up to 700 Horsepower yet the ATX20-RS weighs LESS than 5 pounds! At a massive 680 Cranking Amps in an extremely compact size, this battery offers the most power in the smallest package you can find for your vehicle. (*Over-Charge protection will not protect from a faulty/old Voltage Regulator spiking Hi-Voltages to Battery. If you have a Pre-1990s Motorcycle replace your voltage regulator; it is over 25 year old and most likely broken by now.)

 

Use only Lithium specific Chargers to charge this battery!

Do not use Lead/Acid Chargers.

16.1.19. car honda civic import fd2 type r 2000cc. occ use road car. lads at antigrav [ag] were a fab bunch. spent ages chewing the fat as i work occ in southend so bought in person- real car nuts ). bought battery end october 2018 and left alone pre fitting til today 3 months later. weight 1.5 lbs [!!!] vs @ 23.5 lbs of bosch s4022-my main reason [car weight reduction] esp in very front of car. battery terminals' small 'locknut block' and bolts/ washers on it mean ideally it should be fitted by autoelectrician...my bosch battery failure through non use for @ 3/52 [not uncommon, couldn't revitalise with a ring smart charger which usually works] meant i fitted myself today using a cut up ctek 'washer end' electrical lead from spares in the garage with other end of it wires wrapped around bolts of the small japanese terminals of car [it'll do for now]. +ve terminal still has protective plastic block around it. didn't use 'restart' button. fired up first time quickly no probs though not with a 'forceful/ authoritative' start if that makes sense. drove 45 mins with lights and ac , radio and will restart tomorrow for work. big space for the bosch ['hybrid', usa, battery relocation kit holder due to air filter pipe where oe battery sits] has temporarily been filled. 4/5 as i need to see what extended non use of car does re its ability not to fail [like lead acid ones++], frozen weather start [coming soon...], ability to charge from my car and reliability. happy camper so far.
Note for ag lads - consider selling a conversion kit e.g. from japanese terminals to yours eg 2 male 'cones' simulating the oe battery terminals connected to 'washer end' leads to your battery. Cheers, Jamal
